Hi! My pen name is Martin Sword. I’m an aspiring author, and you’re probably here because you want to read some of my stuff or know more about me. This is mostly about the second thing. I’m a young aspiring author hoping to get published someday. That’s one reason I started this. I need a good base. That’s where you come in! I hope this website supports and inspires you as well.
I like a lot of things, such as writing, board games, video games, math, music, and art. This blog will mainly focus on writing. I’ll be talking about what I’ve written and other thoughts on writing. I might include book recommendations or writing tips as well, but a lot of the content will be included separately in the newsletter.
There’s kinda three parts. This website as a whole is called Legends in Progress. This blog is called Spilled Ink. Then there’s the newsletter (no fancy name) and my stories! There aren’t many right now, but I’ll be uploading new ones every now and then.
A few notes on what I’ve learned about WordPress. When you comment, I believe you have to enter a name and email. I get a message from the site to moderate the comment and approve it. That’s why you probably won’t see the comment right away. The website may also log what pages you visit and time spent, though it won’t be connected to your name, it’s just overall analytics. I think some accounts (like kids ones) block this, though.
